Growing up in a small town, you probably would assume I like having lots of people close to me and everyone knows my name and my family. Well, you are wrong. I have lived in a small town for 17 years of my life and I learned over time that it is one of the most annoying things to live in one. From annoying neighbors, everyone knowing your business, and just flat out being bored all the time, I think there are so many more perks to living in a big city.
I could have lived in a big city. Charlotte, North Carolina to be exact. My parents moved there right after they got married and had both of my brothers there. My grandparents live in Charlotte. I have visited many times and it is my favorite place in the world. I like the big city life. There are so many places to go and do and it is a fact that small town kids cause way more trouble than big city kids.
Now I have moved out of my small town and now live in the country outside of a larger town. I am about 2 miles away from Walmart and Taco Bell, so you could say that makes me very happy. I like having the option to quickly run and grab something rather than driving 12 miles. I love to visit my brother in the Twin Cities, it is a whole new vibe in the cities that I love and I would definitely live in a city one day.
